Here comes a shoegaze indietronica album. "Music for Monorails is a journey. Not necessarily a journey to a place, but more of a journey to a place in time. It is a vibe, a feeling, a memory, or an emotion. It is different things to different people, but that is it's gift. Receive it and share with someone. Or hold on to it for your own safe travels."

Paik are wicked conjurers of a seriously delirious thunder, unleashing a maelstrom of sound that is as lilting as it is crushing. A power trio of guitar/bass/drums, the band first streaked across the Michigan space-gaze scene in 1997, seeking to chart out new aural frontiers within a rock format. With the industrial playground of Detroit serving as their gritty muse, Paik seem to have discovered their own particular portal in sound, a massive sonic whirlpool capable of absorbing everything in...

Verso la metà degli anni ottanta il rock demenziale non era di gran moda .. però un gruppo di ragazzi torinesi dai nomi d'arte tipo Poliscroscio e Tafano dava alla luce una piccola perla del genere: Il Funky del Pollo. Erano i Lavabo! Ecco la loro cassetta/demo ... data incerta, circa 1985. Quarta release di C90 Treasures C90TR0004(2007) http://www.myspace.com/c90treasures

From their album, Faintly Acquainted Drone Dimension have the ability to transport you to Dreamland (yes, the place where we put together all these mp3 releases) Just kidding! But their blend of blissed out droning guitars, whispered vocals and percussive blasts are right up there with the best of the shoegazers. Unfortunately the band called it quits not long after this ep was released.

1998-2001 were intensive years in the attic. A lot of music was created using anything that could produce sounds that could produce interest. This inspiration-full period of time left it's mark in the shape of a lot of material recorded using my devoted four tracker. Now, a few years later, eventually some of this material found it's way to become one piece of an instrumental album, which is this one. the monkey is not singing. Actually nobody sings this time. It's all just a bunch of...

STOP - this is VERSION 1 - Go to VERSION 2 of this mix: https://archive.org/details/DarkStar_1972 ============================================================ Nearly every Grateful Dead Dark Star jam from 1972 mixed into a singular 10 hour listening experience. When I put this together, I was under the impression that I had every Dark Star performed in 72, but as you'll see below in the comments, I was missing a few. I'll try to acquire the missing recordings and re-do this so it is a complete...

Kelldecaut Réan This is an unreleased single. I apologize in advance for the sound quality. I thought, rather than use "David Hemmings" version, which is noticeably different, I would use the original version instead. If you still think they're the same, you can clearly hear the accent is much thicker on "Market street preacher" in this version.
